How to Create Your Own Signature Program

One year ago, my husband had to step in at work leaving his schedule with 3 days off in 60 days. Woof!

I was home with our two littles, and our daughter could not begin 3 days a week of childcare in her classroom until she was walking. The support was sucked out of my world, and I felt crushed by the weight of plans changing and desperately needing to get back to work to support our family.

I didn’t have the time to individually coach my clients like I’d done years prior before becoming a mom.

My resources felt slim and the needs felt high.

So that’s when I got it. I got it so loud and clear that if I was going to have longevity and stability, I would have to evolve.

One year ago is when I began dreaming of my biz mastermind, The Lab. I had nothing in place beyond my website. I knew the results I helped my clients acheive and knew there was so much potential for more, but it had to be manageable.

The positive effects of having your own Signature Program are incredible:

  • Your clients have 24-hour access to the way you help them the most.

  • The conversations you repeatedly have get condensed into one place.

  • It’s a cornerstone of your own thought leadership.

  • It brings validity to your services and programs.

  • You’re able to solidify your teachings in one place clients can return to again and again.

  • You can begin to scale and plan your income with this one piece.

It’s easy for me to say one of the best things I’ve done for my business is take the time to build my Signature Program, and I love helping others with this foundational piece — creatively, with inner wisdom, and heart.

If building your own brand is a priority of yours, one of the best ways to serve your clients is with your own Signature Program. You are walking around with education, skills, and experience out the wazoo!

It does not have to be fancy, intricate, or overwhelming. Instead, I teach my clients to use the "dining room table rule."

If someone you adored came and knocked on your front door and asked you to show them and help them do the thing you do, you would...

  • Sit down next to them at your dining room table.

  • Start at the very top.

  • Walk them through your process, step by step.

  • This is your Signature Program.

  • I advise my clients to have 4-6 modules or units.

  • It does not have to be extensive. Always go back to basics and aim to not overwhelm.
